They say that even if they share data with 3rd parties it will be anonymized first. I don’t mind about that, they need to survive and are not doing well financially; there’s no such thing as free lunch…

Some valid points, but I don’t know if mouse-free productivity can be achieved using only the native terminal. How do you copy paste using only the keyboard between different instances/tabs?

If it doesn’t have special requirements like high performance use the language you are most confident with (e.g., Python). Otherwise modern C or a memory safe high performance language you are familiar with, like Go or Rust
