She's more relaxed about it around her friends, but Lyse is the only one whom she allows to fully hold it. And she's open to some... *spicy* uses of it at times.

Sajyn's mother once had a special ointment she gave to her for cleaning her tail. After she died, Sajyn spent literal years tracking down the ingredients to make it, partly because it's useful, but also because it makes her feel connected to her.

A fellow Steppe escapee! Though granted, it was Sajyn's parents who made the escape, not her.

Needless to say, when Sajyn finally came across the Oronir again, they were not pleased when they discovered her parentage.

Sajyn’s mother was an Oronir who came across a Hyur merchant from Kugane. They fell in love after she wound up abandoned after a battle and his medicines healed her, and they ended up running away together to Ala Mhigo, adopting a traveling lifestyle for a few years before Sajyn was born.

Wow! That’s an incredible backstory, and honestly heartwrenching! I feel so bad for Iliira, and those final images of her are so precious!

Sajyn’s parents sadly died during the Calamity, when shards of Dalamud rained down upon the northern plains of Thanalan while they were traveling. This was also where she lost her little brother. She likes to think they’d be proud of her, though.

Sajyn jokingly referred to Urianger and Thancred as a married couple once, and their faces immediately confirmed her suspicions.

She’s also their go-between when checking on Ryne and Gaia in the First. Thancred even asked her to give Gaia the “dad talk” (though he refused to call it that)
