“Painting Bunting Posing”
Tried many times in many places to get a good shot of a painted bunting. Then one spring day while my wife and I were sitting in our backyard, one showed up and proceeded to pose for us. He stayed about 5 minutes then flew away. A great 5 minutes.

“Jewel Box Cat Hotel: 5 a.m.”
My wife and I built a 32 sq ft feral cat “hotel” for the 8-10 ferals in our neighborhood. We live in South TX and our first real cold front hit at 4:00 am. Papi, a neutered male feral, was fast asleep by 5. Used my iPhone flash and he didn’t even open his eyes.
