Same. I remember how bad Allison was for Houston with all that slow moving rain and that was just a tropical storm. They have all the cat 5 stuff to contend with also. I cannot imagine

It’s not a faux pas, it is a manifestation of bad luck. If you must practice your brioche recipe please do not refer to it as king cake or decorate it as such. Carnival season is pretty long. You can’t practice during the designated time?

I do not eat the candy corn. I don’t know that my daughter actually likes it but Halloween is her favorite and they don’t really do it in her rural Japanese town. It’s more a nostalgia thing

I meant Halloween candy in general. Although I do send candy corn to my daughter in Japan and it’s heavy so very expensive.

Houston is like this. You really have consider if it is safer to stop or run it. Which one has the lowest risk of being hit. Also speed limits are not an acknowledged thing here

There’s one that I sometimes can find at Homegoods that’s tulsi, ginger, and tumeric. It is a life saver. The brand is Davidson’s. Glad you’re better!

In the 90s my ex was in charge of preconditioning for recruits going to BUDS to become navy SEALs. They were required to eat a certain calorie amount. I don’t remember the number but at the time it seemed an unobtainable amount to me
