Watched this one a few days ago.

It's time for our annual Hogfather viewing.

I admit I only watched Spinal Tap for the first time in the past year. It had been on my list for ages as one of the movies my partner grew up watching. We have slowly been going through all media from each other's childhoods

This was a fever dream of a Christmas movie. A made-for-TV movie, from New Zealand.

"The Monster's Christmas" (1981)

Honorable non-Christmas horror:
If you like Celtic folklore, I suggest The Watchers. The main character is Dakota Fanning and she ends up trapped in a forest in Ireland, where humans feel threatened by fae.

The Christmas Dragon from 2012. I don't remember this one vividly anymore but it was definitely on the low budget side. I know it had dragons & forest elves though. I'm not sure I'd necessarily recommend this one unless you like Mystery Science Theater and D&D.

Elves (series)
There's Something In The Barn
"A Boy Called Christmas" 2021 film, Santa origin story. Young Nikolas travels to Elfhelm (often written as Alfheim in folklore, the norse land of the elves). Family friendly movie but a bit sad (loss of family member). "Journey to the Christmas Star" / "Reisen til julestjernen" Family friendly film from 2021. Norwegian fairy tale about a kind hearted, lost princess, who goes on a fantastical journey. "Elves" / "Nisser" A Netflix series from 2021. A Danish family travels to an island where carnivous elves dwell. If I recall this is in the lighter side of horror, but I can't recall how scary or how much gore as it's been a few years. "There's Something In The Barn" film from 2023. I watched this one last Christmas and remember it the most clearly. Comedic horror movie, it's on the lighter side but there's definitely some gore. American family inherit a house a Norway. Disrespect the gnome (tomte) living in the property, and face it's wrath.

90s Cherry Coke

Leaving my comfort zone (wearing gold instead of silver)

I got this Sugarpill palette from a friend a few years ago and never saw myself wearing this yellow, almost green leaning gold shadow, finally tried doing a look with it.
