Chris Murphy, a Democratic senator from Connecticut, told CNN’s Jake Tapper that Platner sounds like a mistake-making human being who was, like so many soldiers, going through a “difficult time.” The tattoo, his words implied, shouldn’t worry us too much. Platner is a man who can speak to “working-class concerns,” and that is what the party must prioritize.

Democrats didn't do that. Most white voters fled by choice. The Civil Rights Act pissed them off. Democrats haven't gained a majority of white votes since then. Please don't rewrite history.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) proclaimed last week that if “an individual doesn’t want to support the party’s nominee [now], it complicates their ability to ask voters to support any nominee [later].” Precisely. This is the very same logic that disqualifies Mamdani from seeking these endorsements today. Mamdani didn’t just fail to support Democratic presidential nominees Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden in last year’s existentially urgent campaign, he spoke out and organized against them. In March of 2024, Mamdani urged voters to withhold their vote from Biden.

Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recalls Biden dropping out of the election: “Hey everyone, it’s Joe,” he said. I don’t remember his exact words, but he told us he’d made the decision not to run for reelection. The party had done so much damage to his campaign, there was no coming back from it. He would finish his term, exit the presidential race, and endorse Harris. A statement would be going out shortly, telling the world his decision.

Per Forbes, Barron is believed to be worth $150 million, and he's probably the only one of his NYU classmates who can make this claim. Alongside Donald, Donald Trump Jr., and Eric Trump, Barron created a cryptocurrency company called World Liberty Financial in 2024. They launched the company just over a month before the presidential election, and unsurprisingly, the results of the election brought the company great success. The mostly young and white crowd hardly discussed Donald Trump’s presidency (a motion that urged such discussion was voted down early on) and seemed to consist of a consortium of activists, many of them focused on single issues. Some were preoccupied with protesting the convention’s lack of a masking mandate.

Hakeem Jeffries has had 102 bills become law (enacted) since he first entered Congress, with his legislative record available on Congress.gov. This figure includes bills he sponsored or co-sponsored that were passed by both chambers of Congress and then signed by the President, as well as resolutions and other legislative actions.

That effort culminated at the 1964 Democratic National Convention, where Hamer argued that, because Blacks were not allowed to vote in Mississippi, the state’s Democratic delegates were not legally elected. In a fiery speech, she pushed the party to seat the MFDP delegates and coined the now iconic phrase, “I’m just sick and tired of being sick and tired.”

I say this because some of you actually believe the bullshit propaganda on here.
Black voters are the most consistently Democratic-leaning group. Asian and Hispanic voters also tend to lean Democratic, but there have been slight shifts towards the Republican party in recent years within these groups. White voters are more likely to align with the Republican Party.

The rest are shit posting Democrats and blaming Obama because DC isn't a state. When Obama, as a senator, attempted to pass legislation on this very thing, and it died.
