"Their forces are too large to take head on, we'll have to break them up and whittle them down little by little." "Our best bet would be to attack and sabotage supply caravans. They'll have to spread out defences which will be easier for us. "An army that's starving won't last long. Eventually they will be forced to abandon Moonrise." Astarion is simultaneously impressed that Aldiirn has a plan like this ready to go, and bored out of his skull at the drudgery of it all. And yet Aldiirn continues! "If they stay, we can nudge them out with acts of internal sabotage. Erode the foundation from within. "When they have no choice but to move operations, they'll bring the control device into the open where it's vulnerable." Aldiirn gives Astarion a smug smile, letting the details of an actual plan sink in. Astarion pouts. "...And then you can stab someone," Aldiirn offers to Astarion. Astarion lights up, "I was starting to fear this plan would be boring!"

Рубі розуміє, але все ж намагається переконати його, що він більше не один. Вона та її друзі завжди будуть стояти один за одного горою і ніколи не покинуть його. Вона також пропонує виростити тут багато квітів і питає Карʼнісса про його улюблену квітку. Він розгублений, не взмозі вимовити ні слова. Аж раптом зʼявляється Доллі - рожева піксі з Місячного ліхтаря Карʼнісса, який він носив, коли ще був послідовником Абсолют. Доллі каже, що Карʼнісс говорив про кульбаби днями і ночами, відколи зустрів Рубі. Рубі дякує Доллі, а піксі відлітає, уточнюючи, що вона Доллі тричі Рубі трохи здивована цим вибором, але продовжує свою промову. Рубі не знала, що Карʼнісс бачив ці квіти, адже вони ростуть тільки на поверхні. Карʼнісс пояснив, що під час вигнання він знайшов труп мандрівника з поверхні. У цього мандрівника була книга з чорно-білими ескізами квітів, які він порозглядав, тому драйдер не знав, що вони жовті. Рубі розсміялася і сказала, що у такому разі вони зросять їх тут багато. І не тільки кульбаб, а й багато інших квітів. ʼНісс каже, що вдячний, але не впевнений, чи гідний він такої доброти Рубі дивиться на нього, опустивши брови. Вона стискає кулак і каже: «Якщо Абсолют або Лолт змусили тебе так думати, то нехай вони відчують мій гнів! Ніхто не має права кривдити моїх близьких». Карніс дивиться на неї і сміється. Коли Рубі запитує, з чого йому смішно, той відповідає, що вона просто виглядає чарівно. Рубі заперечує; вона ж серйозно! Він погоджується, трохи дразнячи її

Маленька довідка перед коміксом Це альтернативний всесвіт, де Кар'нісс і Доллі залишаються живі і приєднуються до групи Тав. Тут ʼНісс оговтується від свого птср та намагається жити нормальним життям Перша сторінка Рубі, тифлінг, сидить на березі річки в Тінепроклятих землях. Таємнича постать з вісьмома ногами підходить до неї ззаду. Рубі ж, тим часом, розмовляє з квіткою, не помічаючи істоту. «Рости!» — каже вона. — «Я знаю, що ти можеш!». Поки вона говорить, за її спиною з'являється чоловік з довгим білим волоссям та сімома очима і питає, що вона робить. Рубі трохи лякається цієї несподіваного появи Драйдер Карʼнісс назиляється над Рубі і дивиться їй в очі, очікуючи відповіді. Рубі відповідає, що намагалася виростити квітку. Збентежений, Карʼнісс каже, що прокляття тіней знищить квітку, як і все інше в цих землях, називаючи при цьому Рубі «Сущею Душею». Рубі обурюється і просить не називати її так. Потім вона пояснює, що Карʼнісс правий, але вона все одно вірить, що прокляття можна зняти Рубі, сповнена енергії, уявляє, якою прекрасною буде ця земля, коли її не буде заповнювати прокляття. Вона каже, що багато людей повернуться сюди. Однак Кар'нісс ловить флешбек, коли чує цю фразу. Він згадує, як він був гнаний людьми та іншими дроу в Підмороку Засмучений, Карʼнісс каже, що йому ніколи не будуть тут раді. Kar’niss is lost and unable to speak. Then, Dolly appears. She is a pink pixie from Kar’niss’s Moonlantern, which he carried when he was an Absolute follower. She says that Kar’niss talked about the dandelions for days and nights, ever since he met Ruby. Ruby thanks Dolly as the pixie flies away Ruby is surprised, but continues her speech. She said that she didn’t know that Kar’niss had seen the flowers because they only grow on the surface. Kar’niss said that he found the corpse of a surface traveler while he was in exile. The traveler had a book with sketches of flowers. Kar’niss saw the sketches, but he didn’t know that flowers were yellow. Ruby laughed and said they would grow many of them here. They will grow many other flowers, too. Kar’niss is grateful, but he’s not sure if he’s worthy of such kindness. Ruby looks at him, her brows lowered. She clenches her fist and says, "If Absolute or Lolth made you think so, then let them feel my rage! No one is allowed to hurt my loved ones.” Kar’niss looks at her and laughs a little. When Ruby asks what he laughed at, he says she just looks charming. Ruby denies it; she's serious! He agrees, teasing her a bit. Ruby grumbles, and Kar’niss tries to apologize, saying he didn't mean to tease her. But she snuggles up to him, saying that she wanted to tease him :D

Drider Kar’niss leaned over Ruby and looked into her eyes. She answered that she had tried to grow the flower. Confused, Kar’niss says that a shadowcurse would destroy the flower, as well as everything else in these lands, calling Ruby a “True Soul.” Ruby triggers at this and asks him not to call her that. Then she explained that Kar’niss was right, but she still believed that dispelling the curse was possible Ruby is full of energy, imagining how beautiful this land will be if it's not cursed. She says that many people will return here. However, Kar'niss also gets upset when he hears this phrase. He remembers being persecuted by people and other drow in the Underdark Upset, Kar'niss explains that he will never be welcome here if the people return. He said that drow and driders would always be enemies of surface dwellers. He asks for Ruby’s understanding She understands, but she tries to convince him that he’s not alone anymore. She and her friends will always stand up for each other and will never leave him. She also proposes growing plenty of flowers here and asks Kar’niss about his favorite flower

Probably doesnt help that I got into lowkey violent encounters with ppl in a couple weeks when I was just trying to walk back home :|
Nothing big or long lasting but like. Maximum anxiety.
But I'll have 2 weeks off in december/january so. I'll get better.
