It’s odd. The fray of cultural morass, a passing awareness of the smoldering remains of humanity, anger building instead of equity, silos of protection against ideologies, an absurdity of privileges and greed, and how provoked we are, intentionally.

We’re waiting for the tide to turn.
For the news to get better.
We’re waiting for the message that it’s going to be ok.

Except that we are the message -
and it won’t be ok unless we make it better.

We’re not sure about the weather.

We’re not sure about the night

It’s all going wrong.

But out there, somewhere, is a light.

Me? I’m too practical to be worried about the state of the world, except, secretly, it’s all I can think about.
