I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about my XVI fic, but the biggest thing for me to remember is that putting a deadline on it is only going to make it harder for me to enjoy.

I don’t want Logos to box in creators who’ve already had to navigate Ultimania contradicting the game. I know the VAs have said it’s their interpretation and encourage fanworks but I also know how sanctimonious people can get in fandom spaces.

I'll defend Mega Starmie all day every day. he looks like a person in a Starmie suit ON PURPOSE. it's a reference to tokusatsu and probably specifically to Warning From Space from 1959. Yea it's goofy, but lazy? no. A lot of the early pokemon are based on Kaiju films. #plza #pokemon
