Specifically referring to how the German govt used them as working dogs in both world wars, almost leading to their extinction both times. And my mind went "oh the Nazis used them, and now the American gestapo is using them." Just an... interesting connection, I guess.

So, echoing others that I hope you do go to the doctor today, but also in the meantime... you mentioned drinking a ton of water, but did you also keep up with replenishing your electrolytes? Water only does to much good if you don't replace the salts, etc that you're flushing out.
