I’m trying, really trying to see Americans as individuals. My niece and her friends have given up and declared that they despise Americans as a whole. Voting him once is an anomaly, twice is deliberate they say. How do I argue?

Completely agree. My simple issues may have to wait a month or 2 but my father’s acoustic neuroma and my mother’s metastatic breast cancer were dealt with promptly and compassionately. Cost to the family? $0. Worry? immeasurable.

I went once in his 1st term, to hike in Joshua Tree Natl Park. The concession we made is that we drove through red states without spending anything. Made for a couple of long days driving from Northern Alberta!
