Talking with coworkers this week about our current political issues, many of them were surprised and uninformed about the size and scope of how bad it is.

They are so busy just trying to survive they don't notice.

This is scary to me. Doubly so because I was too busy to notice until now.

I lament that I am not musically inclined. As we wait for the Find Out stage to really hit, I want to be ready by making a parody cover of "Love Shack" by the B-52s.

Call it "Bootstraps" and make it full of the dumbass advice Trumpers give for the problems they have now made. They will need them.

Given recent events, how long until "I'm not TECHNICALLY a Nazi! Nazis only hate Jewish people!"?

Asking so I can mentally prepare myself for that level of idiocy and hair-splitting.

I'm not the biggest Gundam fan but there's something enjoyable about the humble Zaku to me. Seeing this redesign just....ugh. I now know how @tbskyen.com feels when just tired and disappointed in a design.

As we head into the next 4 years, I encourage straight white males like myself to remember one thing:

You have the gift of outward conformity. You can lie to these people's faces and get away with it. Use that for good and to help others through this.

Young men, if you have "conservative views", particularly the MAGA flavor of them, you need to face the fact that you're unlikely to ever fuck. It's not your height, not your wrists, it's your shit views and ethics.

Two big complaints of Big Two comics I hear are "I don't know where to start" and "nothing ever changes".

The two are actually sorta benefits . The "reboots" are great jumping on points and usually indicate one author's run from another.

Thought for the Day: Don't ask why your kids won't carry on your bloodline. Ask yourself what makes your bloodline worth carrying on.

Thought for the Day: the idea that the US Education system is and has been so unpalatable to our citizens that they get out of mandated schooling and NEVER WANT TO LEARN ANYTHING EVER AGAIN is depressing.

It's one of the foundational tragedies that has brought us to this hellscape.
