Hungry children struggle with attainment and behaviour at school which is why the Government has announced an expansion of free school meals from September 2026.
This will save families up to £450 per child, a year and will help lift 100,000 children out of poverty.

I worked on the NHS frontlines as a Pharmacist during the Covid-19 Pandemic. I saw first hand the devastation for families who lost loved ones to the virus and the strain on NHS teams.
