I work at an independent 9-12 school & our incoming freshmen are from several k-8 schools. Only a few of the k-8 schools offer algebra 1 to 8th graders. My administration would like us (math department) to do a summer alg 1 class for rising freshmen who don’t have access to alg 1 in 8th grade.
