He isn’t wrong. REAL ID isn’t proof of citizenship.

The real problem is searching for proof of citizenship without a warrant.

Those Allen odds are juicy considering his ability to potentially go off over the next four games.
December 13, 2025 at 2:44 AM
It still should be Damar Hamlin until he wins it!

I do agree on the oddity of partisan election administration. Unfortunately, the concept of a career civil service largely post-dates many of our State Constitutions, and certainly the national Constitution, and so the role for the career civil service is not as defined as it should be.

A significant reason that Gore didn’t push for a statewide recount - which was the morally ethical choice - is that the Gore campaign feared (incorrectly) that a statewide recount might find that Bush was the winner.
December 12, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Right, but the efforts of both parties from local to national were clearly intended to produce a partisan outcome.

I’m also admittedly not a “Super Bowl or Bust” type of fan. I do think the other accomplishments matter too. It’s a very, very, small list of teams that have done a 6-peat as division champions. I think that is worth going for as well.
December 12, 2025 at 7:25 PM
I just saw one model give the Bills a 15% chance of the 1 seed with a win on Sunday and a Packers win over Denver. The chance for a bye to rest and recover from injuries seems worth striving for.
December 12, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Also the *Browns* have taken down the Packers and given the Ravens fits this year. Of course the Jets have a chance at an upset.
December 12, 2025 at 5:08 PM
If we are so certain that a Dolphins team that already beat the Bills once can’t possibly, conceivably, beat the Patriots - then the Bills don’t have much hope in the playoffs anyways.

We do know from social science that more Floridians intended to vote for Gore than Bush (see the Palm Beach County butterfly ballot.) But just because the system declared Bush the winner, despite the intentions of Florida voters, it doesn’t follow that Rs “stole” the election.
December 12, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Oh sure, not saying it still wasn’t illegal, but “stole” seems like an unfair characterization if there is no evidence of intent.
December 12, 2025 at 4:59 PM
“Likely Lost?” If the Bills win Sunday and at Cleveland, they’ll be 1 game back with 2 to play. That’s hardly worth giving up on!
December 12, 2025 at 4:55 PM
While good news, under McDermott has there ever been an injury-related DNP on Friday that played on Sunday?
December 12, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Good to hear. My first thought was that anytime you are dealing with one of the smartest orgs in League, you should be nervous that they know more than you.
December 12, 2025 at 4:40 PM
What are the odds DCUBis outsmarting the Union on this transaction?
December 12, 2025 at 4:01 PM
The verb “stole” requires that Republicans knowingly acted illegally. Do you actually have any evidence of that?
December 12, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Yes, because Gore explicitly rejected recounting the whole state - an almost Shakespearean act of political hubris.
December 12, 2025 at 3:35 PM
Yup! Another way of looking at it, if you really can’t give both awards to the same team, then Tony Pollard 25-161 an 2 TDs was way more deserving than Rasul Douglas of a POTW award.

With that being said, I am stoked that Allen keeps racking up these POTW numbers.
December 12, 2025 at 2:13 AM
And those three days were three days too long, given the circumstances!
December 11, 2025 at 11:11 PM
That’s the custom, but is that a rule anywhere? And why not Benford instead of Allen?
December 11, 2025 at 4:10 AM
I’m still shocked that the NFL buried this game at 1pm
December 10, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Christian Benford got robbed though.
December 10, 2025 at 6:05 PM
Also a lot of back-door “covers” masquerading as one-score games. I wonder what the right win-prob/time thresholds would be best for that purpose.
