Or just calling the dive operator if you want. I go there every year. It’s a shame I have to pre-emptively defend a good photo of mine, but this is the internet… Anyway, whatever caused the seahorse to be at the surface wasn’t me or anyone on my boat. 🤷‍♂️ Hope you like the photo!

We were quite literally waiting to get out of the water, hanging on a tag line when it was spotted. I went back to the boat for my camera and snapped this while everyone was getting out. I had less than 500 psi in my tank. All of this can be verified with computer logs and photo time stamps…

Since sharing this on Reddit, many divers do not believe that this seahorse was unmolested for this shot. Seahorses usually live tucked into coral and do not free swim. While i understand skepticism it’s important to point out that i did not nor anyone in my group harass the animal into this shot
