Can’t explain it. I thought it was going to be just “ok” but for some reason this tea was the nicest thing I’ve cooked for as long as I can remember. The butternut stuffed with garlic and chorizo? The lemon pepper chicken thighs, the mature cheddar red onion, spiced carrots 🤷

Horrible stormy night in Donegal (for a change 🙄) so I’ve brightened our evening with stuffed peppers (mushroom, Parmesan, fresh dill and chorizo rice) with lemon pepper chicken thighs and roast veg and a bit of crunchy salad 😋

Mrs R has started a new job, so I had some time on my hands today to make her a nice tea. I genuinely had no idea what I was going to make until I boiled some potatoes. It’s Spanish pork chops with broad beans and a chorizo, black olive, garlic and red onion mash. She liked it 😃

The power to remove the Speaker lies with the House itself. Any member can file a motion to vacate the chair — it only takes one signature. If the Speaker answers to Trump, not America, then someone in that chamber needs to step up and call the vote.

Aubergines are 49c each at Lidl, so I thought I’d have a go at my first ever moussaka! It was OK, nutmeg, cinnamon, oregano flavours. But, I could have made it a lot nicer. Sadly, after a week in Malaga, we’re on yet ANOTHER 🙄 diet, so it was completely oil and cheese free 😇

7 years ago today we got married in Gibraltar. We got a bus to Malaga for week long honeymoon. Back in Malaga today, where we’ve just had a gorgeous anniversary meal.
