Any studio would have greenlit Knives Out sequels. They were lined up to do so. Rian could have had a full theatrical release anywhere he wanted. He CHOSE to make it for a streaming service.

Not playing near me. Guess if you wanted people to see it in theaters, you shouldn't have made it for Netflix.

Guillermo, I'm a big fan and I can't wait to watch Frankenstein! That said, it'll have to be on Netflix because AMC (the only theater near me) isn't showing it.
Please don't make movies for streaming services in the future. Make them for studios and theatrical releases.
