It’s a new brand, focused on the essentials of what’s necessary in a mattress to be high quality. And a simple purchase at a great price. Tuft & Needle also recently closed their brick & mortar stores. Boring just opened their first, and it’s at Culdesac! Come check it out, and say hi while you do.

The lesson of these bike industry failures (and the outlier successes) has been that consumers want low cost. Mastery of the supply chain is the price of entry to be a modern ebike company.

We even hosted multiple bike launches by Lectric here. And I took my first Waymo Jaguar ride from here to Culdesac Tempe.

But what I’ll miss more than any of this is all the memories and friendships made here.

It’s a sad day for my bike collection, however, since it was the storage spot for most of them. At least for now, my collection will shrink down.

I’ll always have nostalgia for the bike collection at its peak. I’ll miss showing people all the wonderful options for car replacers.

We especially have loved our reclaimed driveway and our parking lot that we turned into a little parklet. It is on the street with the most foot traffic in the city, and tens of thousands of passerbys were able to see a microcosm of our broader vision here.
