There’s so much good & so much bad. So many of the ideas behind it were hilariously over-ambitious for 90s late night bargain basement TV.

You’ll have plenty to dig into, that’s for sure. Now more than ever the Earth civil war/illegal orders/Shadow manipulation storylines hit way too close to home.

Hefty, because you can’t throttle SRBs. The main tank structure would probably have to be redesigned to take the stress and basic things about the orbiter might have to also be revamped, like the angle the main engines are tilted at.

It’s probably specific to working with two SRBs.

Completely understandable.

If anything, I was amazed to still see any significant number of Canadians at all. MTB riders (and especially Quebecois ones, lol) are a stubborn lot, but this feels like it will be the last straw for even those stalwarts.

The impact will not be subtle. Recently opened parks won’t build trail nearly as fast or ambitious, and could end up closing before they reach profitability. Prospective new park openings may never happen at all.

The whole industry is shifting towards park & DH. The net effect will be devastating.

My strong suspicion is that many of these riders will finally give up when asked for full phone access and five years of social media history every time they cross the border.

These Canadians were a very large part of the customer base (close to 50%) that new parks like Sugarloaf were depending on.

Pass out on your feet type business. Drag yourself across the floor like a Marvel Zombie business.

I was going to say that it’s a wonder I can communicate coherently at all, but the strong urge to add “it’s Business Time” here would tend to indicate I may have used up the coherence juice. 😏

I’m already chronically sleep deprived, on a terrible and unpredictable schedule, and fatigued all the time even at my summer baseline which is drastically better than late November with RSV and 2+ storms/week.

So when I say the fatigue is scary right now, we’re talking serious business.

…and it’s so hard to sleep when you’re always in moderate to severe pain from dozens of sources which gets amped up dramatically by the reactive arthritis flare from the virus.

So I can’t really rest my way out of the problem. In fact sleep hurts me *a lot* more than extreme sports (MTB) do.

In their defense that’s probably what an article about “variable geometry frame dragging in accretion disks of boson stars in polar orbits around gravitational wave emitting binary singularities due to relativistic effects on spacetime in complex interacting gravity wells” sounds like to them. 😆
