I saw Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson perform Jesus Christ Superstar in Toronto at the O’Keefe Centre in (IIRC) 1993, and the cast also included Dennis DeYoung from Styx as Pontius Pilate.

There’s something particularly wretched about the “Angry Bootneck” guy complaining about critical thinking skills in a screed in which he admits jumping instantly to unsubstantiated conclusions.

To clarify what I mean: pollsters know that selection bias exists in terms of who answers polls, and they’re trying to adjust their models to take that selection bias into account. They may now be over-correcting for this selection bias - which is inherently hard to test for the obvious reason.

Agreed! And we know pollsters are building selection bias into their models so it’s also possible that these polls are overstating the lingering support for Trump. (This would also help explain why Dems overperformed the polls by 3-5 percent in the recent elections.)

Trump is known for attracting otherwise apolitical low-propensity voters so I hypothesize that his backstop support is coming from people who didn’t support anyone before they supported Trump.
