Cool. Reject all subsidizing of Israel and its military industrial complex. We've been propping up this rogue regime for far too many decades.

She wasn't wrong. Ford is easily the most corrupt politician in modern Canadian history.

Yesterday Canada received the "fossil of the day" award for countries doing the most to achieve the least. First time since Harper was PM.

In recent years Canada built up influence, but under Carney is seen as a country that chooses irrelevancy in negotiations as it pursues a fossil fuel agenda.

Abolish permanent membership and vetoes on the Security Council. It's so undemocratic it's ridiculous.

This is refreshing. There should be a single litmus test: no corporate money. Send it back.

Now do another: Poilievre's double standard on deficits.

Just can't put the right at fault without also trying to shoehorn the left into your blame game too? Post article with a chef's kiss!

All due respect, if EU and NATO aren't helping, we don't stand a chance, which is why huge military investments don't make sense. We need to pull our weight to work with our allies, but acting like we're going to push back Russia and China on our own...?

I disagree on that first part. This budget is a massive missed opportunity. Given that PP ran on a similar budget, surprised he didn't vote for it!
November 17, 2025 at 11:55 PM
No disagreement about PP. He's a useless clown. What should May have done? Demanded a hell of a lot more than a verbal promise. Who on earth accepts a verbal promise from a politician?? Obviously she should have demanded that in the budget there be a reversal of the Liberals reversals on environment

More schlock from the Post: woke to people who write for the Post just means they didn't understand.

You're preaching to the choir here.

Good. for. you. Why. are. you. writing. this. to. me?

Also, Ford will be the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada next year, at which point you will absolutely care.

Not a Liberal, here. Of course we can ask better of the feds. But healthcare is provincial in its operations and Ford has year after year underfunded healthcare, waiting for the feds to bail him out.
