I'm thinking specifically of the movie Bohemian Rhapsody which had so much material to work off of, and then just invented a storyline out of nothing for added drama.

That's possible. There's a ton of influential material, I'm just thinking about how it would translate to a visual medium.

Whoever writes the script would have a good challenge to make it both accurate and engaging.

The worst is when they invent storylines to add drama.

I think a long movie would probably be the best format. I don't think there would be enough drama and character development to warrant like 8-12+ hours of compelling television.

But a movie with maybe a single jump forward after he's accumulated power would be good? IDK
