Cooperstown is a tiny, beautiful village on the shores of Lake Otsego. It takes effort to get there which makes the whole experience feel like a pilgrimage. If you’re a baseball fan at all, I can’t recommend it enough.

A long time ago I was in Turkey during a period of “unrest” that included protests against the United States. At the request of my employer at the time, I put Canadian flag patches on my backpack and suitcase. It absolutely didn’t work — and ultimately it didn’t matter. I haven’t done that since.

I made a few comments to several TSA agents about this video. They just shook their heads. One smiled and said he couldn’t comment. It’s utterly embarrassing. Putin and Xi would cringe at this and say it’s too much.
