well it would simplify things if I could write a web page with my bio, then Wikipedia could use it as a reference but that's effectively the same thing as letting someone edit their own page and I understand why Wikipedia doesn't allow that.

But for most people there's no independent way to bio.

I understand the reasons for Wikipedia‘s policies but it is weird that someone‘s biography is unusable as a source.

I need to sit down and make a list of all the stuff I have done recently and see if I talked about my work pre 1999 on the record, and think about what might be in the Wayback Machine.

Which sitting Senator do you believe would do a better job than Schumer?

Because we want to be sure no one who works on an AEG product thinks it will be easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

So far I have seen dialog suggesting he opted in to becoming a Vampire thrall, which makes all his acts afterward his own responsibility.

There is a place for NFTs, but the valuations for dumb uses of that tech were clearly a mania. It is hard to accept that the move towards AI is a mania, or that the trajectory of capability it is on will soon plateau.

All our contracts stipulate that the contractors can’t use AI without prior written permission, from AEG, with pretty stiff penalties. We have not, and have no plans to, provide such permission.

AEG’s official policy is that we don’t use AI in our products without prior written authorization, which currently is limited to marketing materials and pre-production work on text. We don’t use it for art or graphic design.

Feels inevitable to me.

I find his dialog to be grating. And his flirting feels creepy. And he’s an evil vampire-spawn credibly accused of abducting a bunch of children.

wow that's incredibly generous!

IMF tech team and Q division sparring over who can deliver the best gadgets to their agents.

As the plot unfolds more and more clues suggest the villain & org maybe vampires. At the end the audience is left wondering "was that literally Dracula?"

Big moments:
A reveal where after being unmasked and asked his name he says "Hunt. Ethan Hunt."

Bond completely bypasses/collapses an elaborate IMF ruse by seducing a member of the team, who afterwards is clearly quite bemused.

A vicious 3D "Zoom" call between Kittridge and M.

Those two had a long strange journey. If there's an afterlife I hope they are together again.

No Districts. No redistricting. No questions about the fairness of lines drawn on maps. No gerrymandering. Just direct democracy. First past the post - you're seated. 11th place? No seat.
