Both Slot and Mo looked emotional after the game. Really dark times. If the situation has become untenable within the squad then the decision to sack him is no decision at all. It's a necessity.

What really matters is that FSG decisively look for a replacement.

1 scored and 10 conceded in our last 3 games.

9 losses in our last 12.

Random forwards on for CBs when the game is long gone, Gravenberch in defence, Szoboszlai at right back, VVD going up front to chase late equalisers (that never come). Pathetic levels of desperation from Slot and it's clear he's out of ideas. Very Brendan Rodgers. Dead man walking.

Wild to think rival fans were right when they said Slot was just benefitting from Klopp's leftover team and tactics. Thanks for last season Arne and good luck in the future 👍

Fully convinced now that the root cause of the team's problems (beyond Konate being brain dead) is Gakpo/Salah playing basically every minute of every game. 2 shoot first, think never wingers who have completely lost their end product and chemistry with those around them. Zero production out wide.

> Liverpool have conceded 2+ goals in 12 of their 20 games in all competitions this season - more than any other Premier League club has done so in 2025-26.

Slot tactically beaten again (his captain randomly threw his hands in the air to give away a penalty)

i haven't paid attention in a while but have any atproto/bluesky clients popped up lately that are worth checking out? happy to see @pinksky.app still going strong and it's a great example of what can be done with atproto. it really feels like (and is!) a fully fleshed out app.

DOGE is dead and gone - great, predictable, amusing. but DOGE was just a renamed United States Digital Service - what now performs that function in the US? "USDS was founded with the mission to "deliver better government services to the American people through technology and design."

getting confirmation that half of all the big "american" right wing social media accounts are indians and nigerians doing it for monetary gain from overseas - is actually kind of a heartening feeling. maybe things aren't so bad

Season gone so just hobble to January and start a rebuild. Stop wasting minutes that could otherwise be used to build towards the team of the future. Opportunity cost wasted on short term players like Salah, Gakpo, Konate who won't be here in a year or 2. I'm not being serious but... what if though.

A Klopp-ism I always remember is that you can't allow every opposition counter to end in a chance. That's how Liverpool have felt all season - if the oppo wins possession anywhere on the pitch it invariably ends in a chance and a close call. Whereas Liverpool attacks are over engineered slog fests.

Salah looks so much better than he did in the earlier portion of the season but Liverpool need to be less reliant on him running at the fullback. Between him and Cody ”Momentum Killer" Gakpo both wings are too one dimensional and unproductive.

Extremely cathartic to see Konate substituted before the 55th minute. He's so lucky that Liverpool have no CB depth.
November 22, 2025 at 4:20 PM
I mean how do you account for that level of dogshit defending inside your own box? Every other team blocks EVERYTHING while Liverpool players fall apart
November 22, 2025 at 4:10 PM
This #LFC performance is fine imo and I don't get the doomsaying I'm seeing on my timeline. Konate, who is a pathetic liability, gave away a corner that resulted in an illegitimate goal and LFC went nervy for a period after that. But in general it looks okay. Just need to work Isak more into play.

I continue to be completely sick of and done with Ibrahim Konate

Of course that isn't given as offside. What can you say anymore.
