Fully serious question - what the fuck happened to the Atlantic? I first found out about it via James Fallows, who spoke lovingly of it's history and past contributors. Is this really just Goldberg being awful? Fallows for the record never mentions the magazine anymore.

For a smaller gatherr, I just get a breast. Otherwise with dark meat separate, you just roast until the thigh is 180 degrees or so. Any option that allows better control between white and dark meat is going to rule.

Did it last year for a small group it ruled. Deboning a 10 lber this year, which is a bit of knife work up front for easy sailing on game day. Adam Ragusea's video is my go to text.

Eh. The table base came together, it's sturdy, but some of the shoulders aren't fully set/square/pretty. It's my first non-instructor assisted end table, and it's going to a friend who is just happy to have it. It's fine - the top is gorgeous, which will make up for most of it.

Pretty impressive that in 12 months I've gone from real terror about this to seeing stuff like this and thinking oh, yeah, they're cooked and we're going to run over them like fallen leaves. Yes, they're doing a ton of damage, but also, this is laughable shit.

What angers me is that absolutely no one said anything in the moment. Yes, decorum, the Office, etc but somebody in that group should have had some version of a professional "Oh fuck off" fall out of their head.

It's also incredible to see how many normies have been willing to put themselves into a position to have violence commited against them. Lots of people of all race, color and creed just getting in close proximity letting them know their thoughts loudly in great, colorful detail.

I can be too blithe about voters not being shielded from their decisions. I, white, married, 50, male in a very LGTBQ accepting city, am unlikely to bear the worst of that, and I think it's easy to forget that.
