Last week we visited the University Museum Utrecht, umu.nl/for-english-..., to discuss potential activities for families related to our ongoing work on the impact of AI on family dynamics. So much fun, and really looking forward to these activities in the summer.

So normally I go to gigs at TivoliVredenburg, but yesterday I was standing on stage at the sold out Social Animal event at TivoliVredenburg organised by KLI and ASPO. I really felt like a rockstar. 🤟🤟🤟 Great evening with super cool talks and people. If you can, do visit it next year!

Yesterday, I got the privilege to give a lecture in Eduard Fosch Villaronga Law and AI course, introducing a psychology perspective on living with AI and its impact on the law. Our growing ERC teams bonded over everything science. Really looking forward exploring synergies in the future!

Does the use of a state-of-the-art LLM change how we judge the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) to evaluate the morality and competence of someone?

Interaction plots of the perceived plausibility of AI origin by Dimension and Pole of the behavior behind an impression description across three experiments. Result show that people tended to attribute competence-related impressions to AI rather than morality-related ones, particularly for behaviors scoring high on morality or competence.
