I am a gardener who grows native flowers and photographs pollinators that are threatened by human-caused climate change, land destruction, and the agricultural industry's use of toxic neonictinoid pesticides. Pollinators are vital to our survival.

MNs continue to stand up for immigrant neighbors. 2 ICE agents called for backup as 50+ people challenged/documented their actions. ICE sprayed people, shot pellets. Mpls police arrived, determined protest was safe. ICE left without kidnapping anyone. MPR:

ICE arrested people from a house in St Paul, Minnesota today 11/25/25. Photos from Channel 11 NBC coverage showed protests. St Paul police pepper sprayed and shot rubber bullets at protesters, which included local state representative politicians and our mayor.

The night hunter orb spider who spun a perfect web outside my window and caught many prey throughout the fall months has ended her reign. Each morning, she left nats and flies neatly wrapped up in little bundles stuck in her web. I miss her, but hope to see her offspring next summer.
