A set of various sketches related to the artist poster's "Bright Noa Cleans Up Zeon" AU, following the events of their comic. First sketch is of Bright Noa, in his Zeon uniform, saluting and looking none too happy about it. Narrator: And so, Bright Noa joined Zeon... After an undisclosed period of time, Bright is now wearing a Zeon uniform while mopping the floor. A wet floor sign and a bucket are beside him. He has a deeply irritated expression on his face. Narrator: ...As a janitorial crewman. The last text reads "to be continued...?"

Page 5. Close up of Char. Char: I would like to free you from your imprisonment... In exchange for joining Zeon. The proposal shocks Bright as his blackened eye opens wide. Bright (thinking): Join?! Overcome by shock and revulsion, Bright stands up from his cot and loudly snaps back. Bright: W-WHAT?! WHY WOULD I— Char, frowning yet maintaining his calm composure, firmly interrupts Bright. Char: —Please settle down. There's no need to get excited. I can sympathize with your reaction, given everything you have already suffered... However, I believe it would be well worth your time—dare I even say, your very future—to listen carefully to what I have to say. Please take a seat. Page 6. As directed, Bright sits back down on his cot with "plop". He is still tensely wary of Char. Bright: ... My future? You mean being kept here...? Char begins to firmly explain. Char: In a way. As you already know, we've been keeping you prisoner in the hope you might have more insight on the Federation's projects... However, you should also know that this arrangement is only a temporary one. Once this ship regroups with the fleet, you will be handed over to their charge... Char's features darken as his expression turns serious. Char: And I cannot guarantee they will be as merciful as we... Those bruises of yours may well be the least of your worries. Bright flinches at the meaning of Char's words, realizing he may yet experience a far worse fate. But then Char's grin returns as he explains his proposal. Char: And that is why I am offering you this chance. With your blessing, I could convince the vice admiral to accept you into our force... Of course, I cannot actually guarantee you anything other than my own attempt. But nothing ventured, nothing gained—mm? Page 7. Bright snaps back in irritation. Bright: You would ask...? But, why? WHY are you even doing this for me? What is it that YOU have to gain?! Char just grins back at him from his seat, still unfazed by the other's demands. Char: Is it not enough that I want to help one down on his luck? ...If you want my sincerest answer, you have a, certain potential, that would be a shame if it were lost. I was not joking when I said I am impressed by your efforts, Bright. Unsuccessful though they were. I believe you could serve Zeon well. Certainly much more than by languishing away as a prisoner of war, at any rate. Bright begins tensing up as he becomes torn. Bright (thinking): My "potential"? What is he even talking about... This is Zeon, I couldn't...! Especially not after... ...But, what he had said... Everyone else is... Char's expression turns serious. Char: ...It may not seem like I am giving you much of a choice here. But that choice is still yours to make. Whether you permit me to help you... or face an uncertain future on your own... Either way, that is your decision to make. Bright pouts in growing anguish and uncertainty. Bright (thinking): "Help" me? But he... I... Page 8. Char begins to get up from his stool when Bright, hunched over, interrupts him. Char: ...I will leave you to decide— Bright: Wait. Still hunched over and without looking at Char, Bright concedes to joining Zeon. Bright: I... Okay. I will...join. If they will let me... Char smirks. Suddenly Char leans toward Bright and grins at him, catching the other man by surprise as their distance is closed. Bright flinches back. Sound effect: Peer... Char: ...Understood. Char's voice continues to speak in a pitch dark panel, which closes and transitions the scene. Char: I will contact the vice admiral right away then... You have my word.

Page 1. The boots of Char and a Zeon soldier come into view. Zeon guard: Commander Char? Char: I'm here to see the prisoner. Guard: ... Sir. The door to a prison cell on the ship then opens as light shines through, showing the pitch dark silhouette of Char holding the door open. The prisoner, concealed by shadows, can be seen sitting in their cell and hunched over. Door sound effect: Ka-chunk The prisoner then warily looks up, revealed to be Bright Noa. He is covered in bruises and has a prominent black left eye. He is only wearing his undershirt and pants, his Federation uniform since confiscated, and has messy strands of hair poking out. Char silently stands at the doorway, taking in the prisoner's features without visible emotion. Char (thinking): .... Seems they took their humiliation out on him during the interrogation... Page 2. Char smiles as he enters the cell, arms held behind his back. Char: Well! We meet again, Federation soldier... Or should I say, Bright Noa? Bright angrily frowns back at him. He is shown sitting on his cell's cot, with hands gripping his knees. Bright: ... You. You're the one who stole the Gundam... What is it that you're after now? Char is unfazed by the response and continues to smile. Char: Ohh, is that any way to greet a visitor? Although, I can't really blame you for your temper right now... Be at ease. I am only just here... Char pauses mid-sentence to gesture to the Zeon guard behind him (seen only as silhouette) with a silent nod. Suddenly the guard slams the door shut behind Char, locking him in with Bright. Char's dark silhouette, slightly lit by the door's barred window behind him, turns back to address Bright again. Char: ... To talk. Bright jolts in alarm from the sudden action. Char begins walking over, his boots making gentle "tmp tmp tmp" sounds upon the floor. Char: Relax. No harm will come to you. He places his gloved hand on a stool that is opposite to Bright. Char: ...You've been through enough. Char is now seated upon the stool, smiling back in a leisurely manner with his legs crossed and hands clasped together. Some speed lines emanating from him emphasize the surprising suddenness. Char: So let's chat. Taken aback, a chibi Bright pauses in awkward confusion. Behind him is a screentone pattern of question marks. Bright: Uh... Page 4. Bright and Char sit opposite of each other in the dark prison cell. A long silence draws out between them. Sound effect: Shiiin... (Often used in manga to emphasis silence.) After a short while, Char initiates their talk. He touches his chin as he recalls their meeting. Char: ...You know, I am impressed by what you did back on Side 7. Leading that civilian insurrection group and ambushing us at the port... We certainly were not expecting that! I commend the effort. Bright glares back at him, having no patience for idle chatter. Bright: Cut to it already. If this is about the ship and Gundam... Char retains his relaxed composure. Char: Not quite, actually. You've already made it clear that you know little about them. But very well—I will cut right to it: I am here with a proposal for you...
