But we'll welcome former Tories Jonathan Gullis, Danny Kruger, Lee Anderson, Nadine Dorries, Ann Widdecombe, Lucy Allen, Jake Berry - the former chair of the Tories, for God's sake - Andrea Jenkyns, Maria Caufield, Lia Nici ... 20 of them so far.

They should never be forgiven. Except those ones.

It's almost Christmas, and you're going to need a good excuse to not talk to Auntie Marjorie, who you HAD to invite, even after how she behaved last time.

Relax. I'm here to help, with a pair of cracking thrillers.

Sorry for the lack of alt text, and for Britain having fucking terrible governance for at least 15 years.

2 posts containing details of Boris Johnson's response to the initial outbreak of COVID, taken from "The Decade In Tory"

I'm glad the inquiry has been published. But it's 3 years too late. And by focusing on just COVID, it barely touches the surface.

£2.50 right now.

45% of British voters are strongly opposed to Reform, and 33% favourable to Reform.

71% of 2025 Labour voters are strongly opposed to Reform.

And immigration has fallen 50% in a year.

What possible reason is there for this mess?

Hadn't planned a sequel to #BabysBreath, but the right story popped into my head out of nowhere, and I think it's better than the original - longer, deeper, more knotty. Can't wait for you to read it.

I'm prepping my next book for publication (1 Dec).

Quick question: will anybody want a hardback?

I'm just wondering if it's worth preparing one. 99% of people seem to prefer ebook or paperback.

Let me know?

"Why should you suffer for a crime somebody else noticed?"
November 12, 2025 at 4:42 PM
I'm not sure I ridiculed any of you for that. And as I've mentioned numerous times, I wrote this BEFORE the 2024 election, so you're hardly unique in assuming this govt would be a mess. You're also wrong to depict me as an uncritical backer of Starmer.

Yep. I have a weekly column in Byline, and have written a great deal about it. I've posted here about it. And I included a final chapter in my most recent book (covering the 2024 election) about how incredibly disappointing Starmer always promised to be. This from before 2024 election.
