There are definitely many cases unnecessarily being heard at Crown Court. Lower value thefts and frauds should be treated in the same way as low value Criminal Damage and be made summary only offences.
I like the idea of a judge and two DJs being used.

It’s Labour not Labor and it’s probably the only option available to clear the backlog of cases inherited from the previous government. Trials are currently being scheduled for 2029. That’s not justice.

If these farms are truly ‘family farms’ why don’t the owners hand them over to their children, after all it’s a ‘family’ business.
My understanding is that if that’s done 7 years before death, then there is no inheritance tax.,
