Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Honestly, I think a desire to punish Walz for offering an alternate model of masculinity is driving a nonzero percentage of this atrocity.

We wouldn’t anyone who was viewed as educated critiquing this administration. It’s not about DEI and it is a scary path we are being taken down. McCarthyism was a dark period in the U.S. and this will be, too.
