Oh gosh! 😮 At least broken jaw doesn’t stop me from running. 😄 Watch your vitamin D and magnesium intake. Very important for the bone health.

Definitely. Today I have also learned that I got a stress fracture in my jaw during that fall. 🙈🙈🙈 Twisted and ankle and broke my jaw. 🙈🙈🙈 Amazing 😑

I had to cancel Valencia 😭 Still can’t go further than 20 km without pain, 1,5 months after the ankle sprain.

So far I have almost decided only about the Zürich marathon on April 13. Maybe will go for a half marathon in March. But first I need to fully recover from the bad ankle sprain. 😑

Periodization. 🙂 Going from general to specific. If your goal is not only maintaining fitness but preparing for races and trying your best you should have a plan a few months in advance. Doesn’t have to be a detailed plan. Rather a strategy.

Now, when my marathon is in April, I do 2-3 strength sessions per week. Later I will reduce it to only one strength session per week.
