Super happy to share this work led by Eva Pollali, where we dived into the potential signalling pathways involved in gamma oscillopathies that are often observed in autism spectrum disorders.

Loved hosting this symposium with @rungurselrun.bsky.social! Huge thanks to @eknapska.bsky.social, @drnancypadilla.bsky.social and Takashi Kitamura for coming all the way to Germany to share their amazing data — and to our own @c0rr34m.bsky.social and Jeimmy Gonzalez for their great contributions!

We are extremely proud that our work doi.org/10.1093/brai... was recognized by someone so influential in this field as Randi Hagerman in her commentary doi.org/10.1093/brai....
What an honor—and a huge motivation to keep going!

Took years and a lot of teamwork, but finally out: in a mouse model of FXTAS, early psychiatric symptoms pop up way before neurodegenerative changes. Super excited to share this! Just accepted in Brain. For now, here is the preprint which did not change so much:

Modelling Fragile X-Associated Neuropsychiatric Disorders in Young Inducible 90CGG Premutation Mice
Fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS) is a late-onset neurodegenerative disorder caused by a preCGG repeat expansion in the FMR1 gene. Individuals with the FMR1 premutation often exhibit...
