SHf - Because Hinako updates her map as she goes along, there's a humorous (possibly unintentional) instance where, after meeting Sakuko and getting called a traitor at the start of the game, she immediately writes down on the map that Sakuko owes her 500 yen.

Why does almost every criticism I hear about Silent Hill Origins not even apply to Silent Hill Origins? 90% of the time they're referring to things in Homecoming or the Origins beta.

"It's a standalone entry", "it's not connected to previous entries", and "it has no connection to previous entries" are different statements with different meanings.

Maybe a partial self doxx idk but as someone who was born in a "sailortown" the atmosphere of Townfall already is very special to me. If this game can capture the feeling of being by a lake while it lightly rains on a misty, comfortable temp day, then I'm sold.

Silent Hill f was very Silent Hill to me in a SH1 & SH4 vain. SHf leaned more into the whimsical vibes sparsely shown in those games. Alessa turning into a pure white angel, Walter turning black and teleporting around the room. SHf puts this style of Silent Hill at the forefront.

One of Homecoming's many hilarities 🤣 I love the meaning, Alex forces her to breath. As if he's giving her relief in her final moment. It shows that Alex isn't completely clueless. He knew that this monster represented something that needed to breath. Beautiful, but goofy nonetheless!
