My daughter persuaded me to put up the Christmas tree, and as we pulled out the ornaments I realized just how many of them were gifts from former co-workers. This one was made by a lady with a fancy paper cutting machine and it might be my favorite.

#CrochetAway is blankets and I've made a few! First is the one I'm currently making for my daughter. Next is the first non-baby blanket I made and the reason I learned how to crochet. Then there's the chunky blanket I made (which isn't very cozy). And finally, my sister's 30th birthday blanket!

If the very worst should happen, our God is still the greatest and best. Therefore will we not fear though the postman's knock should startle us or a telegram wake us at midnight. The Lord liveth, and what can His children fear?
