a tier list of Castlevania games in the tier labelled "Peak", meaning my favorite in the series, is "Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance" in the tier labelled "Love", meaning the games in the series I love, is "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" and "Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow" in the tier labelled "Like", meaning the games in the series I like, is "Legend of the Evil Demon Castle" (which is the Japanese version of "Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse", notable for its gameplay differences which make the game somewhat easier), as well as "Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin", and "Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth" in the Neutral tier, meaning games I have no real opinion on, is "Castlevania (NES)" and "Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow" in the "Sucks Dick" tier, meaning my least favorite games in the series, is "Super Castlevania 4"
