A lot of the original LPs are still pretty affordable in good condition. I would love a Kevin Gray AAA treatment, obviously, but until then the originals are still marvelous sounding pressings.

Amen, brother. There's a real marriage of genius between the performance and the recording engineer on these things. And it does make you wonder where the master tapes reside these days...
