If you haven’t heard it, this episode of archive on 4 about the Millennium Dome is just fantastic. Paul Merton strikes just the right slightly incredulous tone but I was surprised how genuinely uplifting it gets towards the opening. Highly recommended www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...

Of course there’s total carnage on the trains today now that everyone else is back at work, but I did love how the driver of this train came over the tannoy and referred to the onboard supervisor as “number one”
