All hail Larry Purrsmore, the Spy with Nine Lives! 🥰 This former feral #cat helped wrangle Mouse and Bleu when they bolted, then chased A COYOTE when it came near while I worked! Was shocked. Puffed himself up and ran it off the ranch. Then ran to me to let him in the garage, lol.

Missed the end of #GeneralHospital because the vet called. Way earlier than I thought. Bad news: Maddie has Cushing's. 😔
Unfortunately the test could not differentiate which type as it usually can, so we have to do some ultrasounds which may require a trip two hours (one way) away.

Worried about Cooper. 😢 He’s been bleeding but the vet is worried the trip to them (and worse, further to Tucson if later) might stress him more and tear bigger spots around his stitches. Now he’s acting off but is also super drugged so hopefully it isn’t his diabetes, too.

A stitch of stress was thrown my way but don't want to let it get to me, so here's a #coyote taking a break from drinking out of the wash, instead! Wanted a newer photo but my cloud backup is quite stormy, so here's one from late fall, IIRC. (Grass seems too dry to be monsoon?) #Arizona #Wildlife

Little Zoe dog passed away from cancer three years ago and I had her old coats still tucked away in the closet. Surprised I’d never tried to put one on the #cats until now!
Her winter jacket is a little big for Larry and Mouse, but they still both took turns enjoying its warmth. 🤗

She was being a good girl and I had to check the tanks and feeders, so Bleu came on a little hike with me! 🤗 Of course, it wasn’t enough. It is NEVER enough!
Refused to get out after. Even tried to close the door herself when I wouldn’t do it for her. She got my finger, too! No violence, Bleu! #cat

I am such a freaking sucker. She waits in the backpack and I melt. And I thought she just loved it because she goes outside in it, but she is happy just to chill there while I work on almost anything.
Ok, Bleu. You can help me clean the litter and garage then hike around for garbage.

We were told Mouse was three years old but was just given his guessed birthday (and he was found in Naco as a kitten needing bottle-feeding so pretty close) and he’s the same age as Larry! Same litter would be a stretch but would totally believe half-siblings or cousins! #cats #catdistributionsystem

I had a beautiful black kitty named Barnabas growing up that was very much the same. Miss him so much. We were actually on our way to adopt a working void from the shelter to help out Larry when my cousin offered two of hers. Mouse is now our silver panther. 🥰

All is calm and peaceful as the wind picks up and I look over to see a very sleepy #coyote napping next to her grave! Dogs were quiet. We went on our way. All was well. Wow!

Alan just got back from Costa Rica and greeted me at the door with this cutie! 🤗 I grew up raising parrots and he almost got me some last year. With my health I decided to stick with cats and dogs, but a stuffed toucan requires much less care!

I have created a monster. You do not train #cats. Cats train you. So if you want to bring your #cat with you everywhere, get the Jespet GooPaws backpack from #Chewy. The cat will quickly learn to use its cuteness (and, maybe, violence) to make you its chauffeur. 🤦🏼♀️

Aww, you can’t really see her in this shot. Bleu cat is digging this backpack so much that she cries if we don’t use it at least once a day. I thought she wanted to hang out at the house with me but she kept going back in the backpack for more. So we went on a hike to the Zoe Garden! What a trooper.

It was not decayed but did not appear to be alive. Found a #snake stuck like this in a hole on my hike back from filling the far feeders. Wonder if something tried to pull it out, or if it came out then changed its mind but got stuck? 🥺

It was not decayed but did not appear to be alive. Found a #snake stuck like this in a hole on my hike back from filling the far feeders. Wonder if something tried to pull it out, or if it came out then changed its mind but got stuck? 🥺
