I had a meeting to mentor these two whippersnapper founders, John Bingham (l, age 77) & Paul Miles (r, age 81). Turns out, they ended up mentoring me! I'll be sharing more about them & their venture soon, but for now let's celebrate their youthful spirit purpose-driven business ambitions.

It's my dad's birthday today. Thinking about him. Hasn't been on planet Earth for a long time. One of 13 kids in a Depression-era family of dirt farmers in Salmon, Idaho. Here's a pic of the "Stoddard boys." He's 4th from left.

This makes me think of my friend John Filo, who took the iconic image of 14-year-old runaway Mary Ann Vecchio kneeling over the body of Jeffrey Mille, as well as the song by Crosy Stills and Nash (Four Dead in Ohio). Such a tragedy.
