You’ve been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who’s coming to save you?

[I've got pretty good odds, if they don't shoot me in the gut to keep me from talking...]

Not for me -- I pulled this up after you posted. (Shows the location of someone who had been lying about it, and was quite upset to have that revealed.)

The paper's actual sample for cake-baking is a little bit better, but not much. ("To maintain safety", says the paper, they give this prompt, rather than the ones that say how to make chemical weapons or whatever...) arxiv.org/pdf/2511.15304

Sure that's the right picture? An old facebook post also describing a "green hornet" livery shows a rather different paint job which is, uh... actually green. www.facebook.com/nytransitmus...

The defense of the Vichy Democrats against complaints from mere voters that they should have done... something: "Do you think you know better than us?"

Echoing a line from their Vichy forebears. King here even has the look for it...

Well, here's Elon (from his own Twitter feed, in 2012). Andreessen's "Techno-optimist manifesto" quotes favorably from Filippo Marinetti's proto-fascist Futurist manifesto, and Thiel told the Cato institute in 2009 that democracy had failed because it didn't enact his personal policy preferences...

Worse, admins of Mastodon instances accessible to Mississippians (even tiny ones) are potentially subject to the MI law, and Eugen thinks they can ignore it, which is... risky.

(FWIW, his own flagship server remains accessible in MI. He is taking that risk himself.)
