In her short lifetime, Dora Pejačević composed one string quartet. It is a powerful one. The Croatian Sensation (Hrvatska Senzacija) wrote many more chamber works, enough to fill an afternoon lie-down.

This morning I explored Toronto's new Biidaasige Park.

A river winds through marshy wetlands, past playgrounds, picnic areas, bridges and lookout points. Nature, animals and Toronto futurism blend with Indigenous connections.

This park kicks so much ass I came home with bruises.
