The models stay unconverging and I stay positive

True, it's not the worst result I've ever seen 😅. I'm working on figuring out what might improve things. My first Gamma attempt didn't converge at all 👍 and it does seem to be the case that more 'diamond' shaped homogeneity plots don't really 'respond' to transformation.

There is also the strange case of fitted values near 35 in the homogeneity visualization that are far away from others. Who Is That. What Happened With Those Leaves. Is this a case of low battery = weird measurements?

The heavy tails in the qq-plot. The increasing and then decreasing residual standard deviation as fitted values increase. Obviously an incorrect error distribution... or my model is missing something.

this is for some reason completely baffling and upsetting to me.... merriam webster here i come i guess

Alright, I will coordinate with a USAmerican friend then :)

Do you know if it is possible to pay with a non-USAmerican card, even if shipping is to USA? I frequently find it is impossible for me to gift things to my USAmerica-friends, as the online payment processing requires the billing address to be USA as well...

'So my houseplants are all perpetually starving?' If you're trying to grow tomatoes indoors without additional light sources I wish you a very Good Luck. Shade plants (many houseplants are) do better....

My thing is demonstrating to students just how 'dark' a typical classroom or office is. Light intensities on a bright sunny midday in Germany can net you around 1500 micromoles per meters quared per second.... in our classroom it is in the single digits. They get really serious about it.
