Lead Game Designer at NYT, President of #RocGameDev. Opinions my own.
My 3yo daughter who has never played a video game before was able to try 4-5 of them! Her favorite was Pelican Post for its cozy cute vibe and the fact that she could jump/walk/drive without obstacles.

I also appreciate it from a design perspective. It is a highly functional guide complete with a map, checklist, icon key, and clean consistent format for easy scanning. Huge thanks and props to the creator Sara Snyder for putting this together 🙏🏽.

In addition to family time my goals are: get healthier, design a board game with/for my 3yo, try some new games. Anything else I accomplish is bonus!

Initially I had all kinds of ambitious plans for my leave, including indie projects and even teaching as an adjunct (i had an offer!)

But all of them conflicted with the purpose of my leave: to care for my family and bond with our new addition. So I’m keeping it simple.

Update: Snow White has embraced the darkness of the poisoned apple. She now corrupts the forest animals one by one. With enough power she will achieve her new form: Black Frost

Thanks for playing and happy pride! Though tbh I only contributed a small bit - was truly a team effort to make this happen :)

Beautiful and tasty matcha tiramisu in Long Island city! The sushi was even better but I forgot to grab a photo.
