Narratively, it was such a letdown. I enjoyed It Takes Two and hoped for a story on par with that. Got a better co-op game and worse story, though.

I don't think that applause sounded supportive. It was more like how you clap at a pet that's shitting on the rug to get them to stop.

Honestly, coming off of the 90s Mario movie and Uwe Boll's shit, it was nice to see a ham-fisted, yet earnest attempt at least trying to pay homage to the source material.

It's not the same, but Parasite Mutant looks to be a worthy spiritual successor to Eve.

I enjoy good narrative games that branch. Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human are both worth a play if you find yourself enjoying Heavy Rain.

This is my recently with P5R. Turns out going Metaphor into P3R and then falling off after 18 hours on P5R didn’t mean I didn’t like it, it just meant I shoud take a year off of Atlus RPGs, apparently. I’m having a blast this time around and 32 hours and fiending.

It’s fine in terms of being easy to understand, I think. I personally don’t like the fact that it implies unchecked wealth is acceptable by the party, which is one of the key issues they’re facing with their voters right now.

There is footage everywhere of these Guardsmen helping out, laughing with the public, and being as non-threatening as possible. They didn’t want to be there, they know it’s ridiculous, but they aren’t and never have been the problem. Save that hate for ICE/CBP if you’re upset at occupation.
