See this as affinity being subsidized by Canva (for the time being) while it milks billions from megacorps who want cheap graphics to make cheap marketing assets for their Facebook ads.

I’ve seen no issues with brushes. As for Canva, it’s very much a separate thing. You don’t need to turn off anything if the only thing you use is affinity because affinity doesn’t use your data for ML or AI training.

I’m not going back to v2. V3 all the way and I’m eager to see what they build next.

I have literally no complaints (well actually there’s a bug where TOCs are up to date but still show as outdated in preflight checks but I’m sure they’ll patch soon but it’s also not a big deal.)

Honestly the jump is seamless. The new app has great UX, the UI is super smooth and it’s faster. The new features are great too (image tracer !!) and the ability to switch to any personal and open any doc within one app is amazing.

Serif cared about this release and it shows. Great app.

Procedural RPGs:
These games may incorporate prompt-driven journaling elements, but are more focused on a compelling game loop and resource management in a solo-friendly format. Examples include Rune and Stoneburner.
