yeah your brain does use algorithms taught by the content and exposure to materials prior to your existence

such is the argument "nothing is truly original"

plagiarism is still the cardinal sin of creativity
it is still the cardinal sin of education

i just look at some genre tags and run with it

video games, i look at 5 seconds of gameplay (not trailers/cutscenes) and decide
films, i just watch it

i take a chance on not liking stuff and seeing if i can walk away with anything to enrich myself

wonder if it fits over a dog's snout without hurting them? which is weird because they just use straps for that

or it's just a really odd ring-gag?

point well-taken
because as much as our rooms were never "ours"
at least things like the bathroom was

i remember listening to someone tell how when they were a teenager they fell asleep for a nap and had the door locked

heavy sleeper so didn't hear their mom knocking or banging

she got a *crowbar* from their garage and broke the door open screaming before he woke up

some kids never did even for previous generations
stop me if this is familiar-

parent tries to open the door > finds it locked
parent begins banging on the door > begins to yell
"$NAME what're you doing in there?! what's going on!? why is this locked??"
