Exiled Cymro, LUFC sufferer, beyond the mainstream music obsessive.
None of the options mentioned; with the possible exception of Rosenior, are an upgrade on Farke. I’m with Popey on this and unless there is an outstanding option, nobody is likely to get more out of this group of players than Farke.

Hope we pick up points this week. If the options are Rodgers or O’Neil than I’d rather we stick with Farke and give him the attacking options in January denied to him in the summer.

With DJ missing even more reason to go with a 5-3-2

Not sure. He was sacked by Leicester when they were in freefall and he doesn’t strike me as a manger for a relegation scrap. If that’s the choice, no thanks. Better sticking with Farke.

Plus a healthy dose of re-distributing wealth, promotion of minority rights and rejection of autocrats.

‘Christmas’ is a re-branded pagan festival….so there’s that

A man that makes 2p Lee look like an intellectual heavyweight.

Completely agree.Despite the defeat on Saturday, we have some momentum from that 2nd half and a plan to how we might stay up. How Farke reacts to this over the next 2 games, will I think determine what happens next with him.

Quiet Life is a complete
classic and the template for Duran Duran’s career 😃

This set-up suits our squad better. Stach for Gruev and Gudmundson for Justin will improve if further.

Really good for Cymru too - noticeably improved since Bellamy took over.

Thus speculation just shows the folly of making a change without a succession plan that would give us more of a chance of staying up
Ange 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So we’re exactly where we are supposed to be on the table based on budget - just shows the scale of the challenge to stay up.
November 27, 2025 at 12:33 PM
Completely agree. The squad isn’t what he wanted but we’ve been largely competitive and could easily be on 15/16 points…but we’re not and DF is getting caught out against better coaches who have better resources. Could a new manager do better? Very much depends on who it is.
November 25, 2025 at 12:29 PM
Agreed. I think the owners will roll the dice before January - there’s too much in the line this season for them not to. Rodgers is the obvious choice but who knows 🤷‍♂️
November 23, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Farke didn’t get the resources he wanted, - that said, there are options; 3 at the back, 2 up top, Harry Gray. 🤷‍♂️ Persisting with a losing style of play, continuing with Aaronson and an inability to tactically respond in games making is unfortunately, ultimately, going to cost him his job.
November 23, 2025 at 6:23 PM
I’ve backed him fully but there’s zero reason to play Aaronson ahead of a fully fit and firing DJ. Accept that Willy isn’t match fit but even then, he could have started and been subbed off later. 2 quality right-wing options and he ops for Aaronson🤷‍♂️
Would love to be proved wrong though.

DJ was back to his best in midweek for Cymru and took his goal really well - he is levels better than Aaronson. It would be almost perverse not to play him.
